Adding Order Statuses to Your WooCommerce Store

On this page, there is an option that says “Add New Status.” Clicking this will bring up a form with several fields that need to be filled out. The first field is the name of your custom order status; fill this in with something descriptive like “Processing” or “Shipped.” Next, you can customize the slug (which is used for internal tracking) and add a description about what happens during each order status (e.g., when an order is shipped). Finally, you can choose whether or not you want customers to be able to see this status, as well as if it should be considered complete or not when it appears during checkout. When you are done filling out all of these fields, hit “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page and your new order status will be added!

Step 3: Assign Order Statuses To Orders

Now that you have added your new custom order statuses, they will appear in the list of available statuses when viewing orders in your store admin area (e.g., Processing, Shipped). You can assign these statuses to orders by clicking on them from within the order details view or by using bulk editing tools available in many themes (such as Shopify). By assigning specific statuses to orders based on their progress through different stages of fulfilment and delivery, you can gain valuable insights into how efficiently your store is operating and where improvements may need to be made!
